It's the r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-RECESSION!

Salam Alaykom,

I was kinda hoping to catch up on sleep but alas, no.. I slept for a total of 4 and a half hours last night. Either way, this recession is killing us all, slowly and steadily; not only am I broke, but I'm bored, tired, restless, annoyed- the list goes on! And what makes things 10x worse is the fact that everyone seems to need to me for something, get this- today I went nursery hunting in Camden for my cousin's little one.. I can't believe they actually measure the catchment area thingy by CM!!

Back to the r-r-r-r-Recession [(C) to Ms. S. J] With the National Debt closing in on £1 trillion (according to The Telegraph) the new government is going to make major pay cuts etc, the out come of which should be interesting. The question here is whether the unemployment rate will go down and the number of jobs will grow; the job market is mainly looking for people with impeccable skills and experience- and quite rightly so, leaving us lesser jo's at a bit of a disadvantage.

All I'm saying is that I seriously need to work, or just do something else I'll either go mad or end up killing someone in my immediate family. Running errands with family and friends is OK but give it a few weeks and I'll end up moving all my keyboard keys and reattaching them to pass the time. Wish me luck!

I'm thinking most people are going to be in poverty until they get a job!

  2. Thanks Fatemah!!

I wouldn't call it poverty at this stage.. with the God knows how many billion £ price cuts planned to start this year, it may (heavy emphasis on may) may be better. But unless the international economy is sorted, we're heading for another Depression soon.
