Only he could get a PhD on rap culture and still look effortlessly stylish in soft shades of suede. After he broke the awkwardness by inviting he class out for coffee during their break, his lectures became the highlight of her week.

Almost a year on, she stared out of the window, looking wistfully at the new students enjoying the last few days of real sunshine. She heard snatches of French, Spanish, Arabic, English and some other languages which her ears were not accustomed to.
Hundreds upon thousands of students poured in from every walk of life, from almost every country of the world and who spoke all languages too. Cosmopolitan, hybrid and globalised people all merged into one here, under the banner of education.
